its about time they did that recall....theres been too many reports of accelerator pedals sticking....when toyota got pulled up about it last year they claimed that the floor mats which came in the cars were sized and shaped wrong and were able to hold the pedal at times....but that was some bullshit cause it still kept happening.....there was a case right here in Maryland where a teenage girl was driving her dad's 09 camry on a highway and the pedal suddenly stuck...she was an inexperienced driver and not knowing wat to do she panicked and pulled the handbrake...that caused a huge pile-up accident with one life lost....toyota need to get their shit organized!!

Never liked the idea of drive by wire throttle. Something about the computer controlling the throttle body rubs me the wrong way. I just hope my yaris dont pick up that problem. Old skool throttle cable FTMFW.
