Question Brake upgrade

was wondering, if your car is factory equipped with ABS brakes, if you were to upgrade your rotors, calipers and pads to an aftermarket setup, does that eliminate the factory ABS setup?

i dont think so, i think the ABS takes its reading off of the hubs rotation other from the outer part of the axles. it may differ between vehicles though

You're right... It shouldn't eliminate ABS because signals comes from a sensor mounted on the hubs, unless its different with Toyota... I wouldn't know but I know for sure thats how it is with Hondas...
