Devo Built Drag Car... Start To Finish!
DRAG CAR BUILD OVER AT DEVO TUNING

Well i couldnt hold back anymore, its time the members of EVO M got a chance to see an amazing car build going on here at DEVO TUNING. This car is being built for a customer with NO EXPENSE SPARED! 90% of whats going on this car are one-off parts built here in house at the shop. I made this post so i could put up progess pictures as the car is being built up until its debut next month. Not many people get a chance to see what goes into a serious drag car so this would be a great look into what the big guys go through to break some records.

how the car came to us: BONE STOCK gg evo 9 just waiting to be modified

Nice interior... too bad everything is coming out for cage fabrication and structural support!

No more roof!

Right about now some of you are probably about to pass out from what we did to that beautiful evo 9... but did you really think we would leave the car like that? Off to PAINT!!!!!

Brandon you prob know about this build it's the forum. I will add updates as the come. And alot of people are talking smack
about this car beating AMS etc. so we will see

Yeah I saw this too... I love these builds where you just strip the whole car.... everything. Then weld in the cage, paint it, and put it back together. For us guys with older cars, it potentially is a way to make it new again sort of. I'd love to just ship my car to some motorsports outfit in England and have the works

There are several builds like this in the UK that just recently finished to compete in the pro class of the UK Time Attack series. I get so excited when I see a Evo stripped and painted. NO RUST like my car

Well today we dyno the evo X. We made 395 awhp@ 24.8psi on pump gas.

MOD LIST
1. BVP Cold air intake pipe
2. BVP TURBO BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM
3. BVP o2 housing and downpipe
3. Custom FP Stock turbo (prototype)
4. Stock intercooler
5. ACT Clutch
6. TT intercooler piping
7. STOCK ECU NO PIGGY BACK SYSTEM
8. Hallman manual boost controller

Fellas this car is a beauty!! hey I never knew that u could have an ECU without a piggy back system. Brandon watts the performance like with this setup?
