This topic was a very hot one indeed.

It is very serious and needs direct attention to the persons directly involved in the slowing up of the process.

However, as Mikey had posted above we had been invited to a meeting and the notes gathered there will be transferred back to every island with cars trapped here in Antigua and also on the forum as well.

Sorry is not the word to use with the way in which things escalated but now that we are in a better position than word of mouth and we are now directly involved with the horses mouth we can now have this topic updated correctly.

Kodie am glad things are getting a little more clear, One of the main problems Many of us had was the lack of info. we were getting.

If everytime someone called stewart and could get him on the phone, "if only for him to say that they are working on it" it would not have been that bad but it is the not answering that got everyone heated about the whole problem.

Kodie I know you try to be fair on here but you see like I have been saying all along its all about how you deal with people. If people have the correct information or are just getting information then things work out even better for them. I run a business and I make it my business to inform my customer on progress with work weather good or bad. They may get upset but they appreciate the honesty and they can plan better for the delays or whatever the problem is. When you cannot get intouch with the people in charge this is usually the end result. people will speculate. Afterall what else can one do.

Stuart may not like being in the position he is in but he is an organizer and he is the one that came and spoke to us about racing and am sure to many others. If it was our cars in another country and we were talking to say someone named Sean all the time and now we cant get our cars back or cant get Sean on the phone or e-mail or whatever how do you think we would react.

Like I have always said. I think Stuart needs to either work on how he deals with the public or get someone else who can relay information to be put up front and not run and not answer his phone and stuff like that when things get tight. I mean he organized a great event and when we the racers had a problem with something that he promised us and held a protest he never came to try to reslove the situation. I mean that dis respecting us and its not the way to go forward.

And I am waring all organizers we the drag racers and getting more united so gone are the days when you can just put on and event and treat the racers how you please. Its time for a change and its beginning with us.

i totally agree with ashley , if u are dealing with people y u hiding from them y u not answering ur phone if it was his car overseas i'm sure he will be calling down the place the owners of the cars want to know if their property is safe and that it will get back to them , who can blame them too much time we the racers have been taken advantage many tings could have been resolved just by communicating but this was not done as i said i also am looking into this situation and i hope it will get resolved soon , i will also continue saying how i feel cause they can't shut me up this is my view and if u don't like it you can go cry 2 tears in a bucket .

What i want to really clear is the fact that i could have helped tarnish the reputation of the Carib Motor World and basically that was not intentional.

It is with due respect that i try to undo any damage done to the promoters as the unofficial word placed them directly in line to the firing squad. Also, it was notably unnoticed that direct contact at the time had seemed to be futile at any point with the promoters whether local or regional thus adding gas to the flames.

But we are now pressing forward and whatever we learn is in the hands of you guys. You can guarantee that you'll be informed here at Antigua Streetz!!!!

kodie CMW have put themselves in this trouble they should have been dialoge with all parties involved so them nah fu come try blame people out there all this issues should have been dealt with long time look how they wanted everyone out there to come for this event , didn't they fly to all countries and have meetings with the racers there ? if a person nah want fu answer his phone and u have tried to call for a whole week wah u think that a tell u ana disrespect u a disrespect them , as me say who bex dead but me nah stand for **** all this can be avoided and i hope these guys get their belongings soon big people all arwe be , remember a the same way we the street racers got treated at their last event and what did we do , i'm sure u clearly remember

All is fair in what you said Mussi. I hold nothing against what you said.

My point is, i was corrected by Stuart and his point is as valid as the gospel truth.

I guess because he had on his apron in the kitchen most of the heat got stuck to him and CMW but in reality, in reality this entire event lies in the palm of others outside of their company so that is why i was retracting the blames that needed retracting.

I am not afriad to tell CMW that if all the allegations made against them in reference to phones not being answered then that is wrong and very unprofessional. The approach was that of a kindergarten if such was the case. In that matter am listening to the complaints of others, so nobody is exempted from preaching their own words on this forum. I have tried and have been unsuccessful so i saw myself. Maybe the phone was off or not working or such that it was unfortunate that at that time things were not getting through. Things happen like that, i am not ruling out anything.

Stuart is a member of this forum and he knows that much contact transfers through this site. If he is smart, like i would think he is, then he'd get online and save himself a phone bill and clear the air.

Kodie I know what you trying to say and I know you trying to hold an even ground here but its very simple. Even if Stuart no fully responsible for the recent problem he is to be blamed to a point. If he is a member on here he could 1] Air his views 2] Update the car owners of whats happening or something of the sort.
