I doubt Antigua will have any more International Events!!!

Hi Guys,

Well all of the St. Lucia cars are now safely back home. We cleared the 200SX and the WRX on Friday, it took a while because we had to clear up documentation with Port Authority as we had a waiver of the container handling fees and apparently Cagema had paid the handling fees when they left and obviously they wanted to get reimbursed.

Finally Port Authority agreed to credit Cagema for the amount and so after paying the shipping cost of $892.00 US we got the release of the container.

The other container was cleared yesterday after they paid an additional $750 US for Antigua Demurrage charges. Would you believe that Cagema in Antigua insisted on a bank transfer to a US account before they would release the container.

In the end we ended up paying a bit more due to the rental paid to Jay and the trucking to the docks which the other containers did not pay.

The cars are fine with no damages or other defects noted, the only strange thing is that we are missing a 20 LB white Nos bottle. We know it went into the container the morning we left but after that who knows. It is possible that someone could have taken it here as we had to leave the car it was in on the side of the road with a tow truck for about a half hour, so who knows when it disappeared...?

Again I would like to thank everyone that helped make this a reality and I hope that all of the other cars have made it back to their respective countries.

Oh great news this has all been...am happy things have been resolved and i am quite certain this will not be the last i hear from you guys.

I hope to see you in Antigua one day again representing St. Lucia to the fullest.

You guys of course do know that Callum has the faster car once he gets the proper slicks and so forth. His car will be a serious threat now, and i see that he was an underdog in St. lucia as well too.

Callum that little civic ran like 12.3 on some slicks that cant even hold the car at 3,000 rpm, lol!!! He hasn't gotten the proper axles so Brian never launched the car he just practically rolled out and kept running pass an Sti WRX, lol!!!

So look out St. Lucia!!!

Guys, straight up. I know many of you would like to see some of us back in Anu. to race but that may be a long time before we forget what happened.

Whomever invites foreign from the affected countries will have to work real hard to get drivers to come back up.

Especially the bad taste J. left in many drivers mouths in doing what he did at the last min.

I must agree I think this is deeper than J but I don't care to get into that politics again. Glad you guys got sorted and I wish you all all the best with your machines and hopefully we will meet up on some race track sometime soon.
