One man just ****ing up racing for everybody in the caribbean. I dont even know what to say because I am so pissed off at this point. and you know what I don't believe this is government issue but he is just using them as an excuse cause if he had his **** together like he did getting them here they would not be in this situation. me no k who bex with me but stuart no fe have nothing again here that involves cars cause he making the country and all of us look like one bunch a thieves.

Jonty am truly sorry for what your going through and I know kodie and mussie them working as hard as they can to try to get things sorted out for you.

I must say big thanks to Kodie and Mussie for stepping up big time.

I wanted the input of Wraith on what is the situation like in Grenada. How are the people reacting to the whole situation of not having their cars?

Oh and whats the deal on the track being sold in Grenada?

So much left unsaid, you may just be the right person to inform us on whats taking place. Any info you have may come in handy at this point.

Honda you are right, I speak weekly to the top Subaru tuners around the world, Gadiel (big valley PR), Andy Forrest (UK), Ron Willams Axis racing (US) plus others they all know what is happening in Antigua.
The fact that one guy can basically deal your racing industry a blow like this is very concerning, also the fact that these were ministry of tourism sponsored events and they seem unable/unwilling to do anything gives no confidence in the system.
If you guys ever manage to have another international event careful consideration needs to be given to who is doing it. I for one and others assumed that if the government of Antigua had sanctioned and sponsored the event that they would have made sure it was legitimate and facilitated in its smooth operation.
The first event was great and the vibe was really good, I had thought that we would have a permanent container in Antigua and raced several times a year. The stage was set for Antigua to be come the hub for Motorsports in the Caribbean and all concerned were very excited about the possibility.
That moment is gone.

Kodie I am personally trying not to get myself upset about this cause it will only raise my blood pressure which never turns out good.

Everyone here who is involved is extremely upset but I am just waiting on the side to see what is happening and hoping this will be resolved soon.

Making a huge issue about it over the net and upseting government offices will not do any good and may actually make it worse for the sport in the long run.

About our track, it has been leased to a company for private flights but they are allowing the club here to still be able to have racing on scheduled days once there are no flights arriving. My fear is that in a few years our use may be restricted because of regular flights to the hotels in the area.

And I think we, the local racers, will need to have a meeting with the same Minister to make sure something like this never happens again. Not only is the name of the Antigua Racing community being tarnished, but so is the name of the country.
