Today is a public holiday here.

Most of the Govt offices here, if you call the Main Switchboard number, you will get that message (no International calls accepted). You have to get the private line number for the person you wish to speak to.

Interesting so how as a off island tourist how do you contact the Ministry of Tourism? I guess you dont because if you dont know any direct #'s and you cant call the main line you are SOL.
This is tourism we are talking about LOL.

All the Govt offices here are the same, including the Courts. I can understand 10, maybe 15 years ago, but in the this day and age I can't understand how someone in charge doesn't realise this is totally unacceptable.

Is there any further information concerning our cars???

All I keep hearing is that the cars will ship next week and this has been going on for weeks now. From the last we heard from Stuart was that he had all documentation signed and all he had to arrange was for a crane to load the containers so they can be trucked to the port.

The Civic is still at the Dyno and the owner doesn't seem to be concerned about when he needs to get the car back in the container. He either knows more than he is letting on or his trust in Stuart to notify him is unshakable...

There is still no confirmed shipping date if this is the case.

This site is for relaying information about racing in antigua weather good or bad and we need to weed out the bad.

I just spoke to Stewart, he said he was at tourism collecting the documents that have finaaly been prepeared, all is in place for the cars to ship next tuesday.

I don't understand what Kodie is doing. Something serious is happening here with regards to people's investment and this seems to be the only medium for them to get info. And now it seems like Kodie is trying to cover this up. Until the people get their cars back and everyone is satisfied, we here in Antigua cannot allow for this topic to be brushed aside. If you want to cover up for other people, we will find another way to get our points across. Sometimes, I wonder who you really work for. Then again, as I said before, he who feels it knows it. You can't really expect people that never bought a race car or invested their money heavily into one to understand what racers have to go through. Thats why we get disrespected by people that don't even own a car.

And you got and still get disrespected more than any of us.
