Gran Turismo Classes

i will work out the classes ...:):):)

we can decide a time class like it is dont at the track.....eg 7 sec, 8 sec , 9 sec ,

or we can run a class with hp ranges.....

or we can have car for car classes with stipulations ....{stipulations could be either turbo only , turbo and nitro, n/a only, or n/a and nitro...

or we can just have a car for car with no restrictions...this will showcase the fastest car {eg evo 3 vs evo 3}

then there can be a specific 1/4 class and a 1000ft class

and a top speed class{ broken into (1)hp class top speed (2) specific car top speed}

then it can be a fwd class, rwd class, 4wd class...

and a mix match class...4wd vs rwd.{cuz some rwd can beat a 4wd}

and a racing body class to be further subdivited or can follow the above format}

or we can have match race shoot out..{like a runx vs a teggie, supra{guss} vs mr2, skyline vs subbie}

also ..we can have rankings to know what level a person is at ...eg ..in john play gt and he get a civic to do 12.5 max he is not in the same class as joe who get is to run 11.9...therefore a sort of respect ranking is earned...

a points system is good to ...using teh above as eg's ...we can give points for a win{best of 3} and tally at the end of the tournament..

those are some ideas of how we can class it out....more are welcomed...

Suppose you spend your time and have a Civic running 12's. Then Guss just bring a normal Skyline to run the same class as you.

I say we say 10 sec class (so everyone build a 10 sec car) if you beat a guy and he wants to query then u have to show what the car running by itself after. If it runs faster than say 9.98 then that person (car) money dead and disqualified.

I DONT MIND ONCE SOME GOOD RACING THERE ME SAFE BUT THE SUGGESTION IS OK BUT IN A WAY IT WOULDNT BE FAIR CUZ WE WANNA C TUNING PART OF THE RACING. EXAMPLE 2 MR2 RUN TOGETHER ETC

Please note that this is impossible unless its GT2 we playing. Thats why i will always say that GT2 is the best racing game ever when it comes to tuning, the competition is not far-fetched and you know when you running classes the competition cannot be miles ahead of you when your car is near peak..impossible....in any other game Nitrous and so forth knocks off time like crazy.

It can be done Guss but is time consuming for GT4 because of too much factors. GT2 a 12sec class down to 9 would be sooo comptetive with soo much different cars running the same times that we would have racing til the next day.

Tune your Honda's (FWD)

All the top Japanese AWD and 4WD cars and thats where most of the racing lies anyway oh and the top RWD cars from Japan too.

If I don't have no Subaru (and I don't)
etc etc - Than I can't race I guess - u see my point.

Now if you do it by HP then a 400hp civic is a faster car than a 400hp supra (just for an example) because of power to weight

So besides running FWD/RWD/AWD etc I am not sure how we are going to come up with classes

It just means you can't race certain people or certain classes. I don't think you are going to find everybody taking part running every class there is. Me personally, might only come with 2 cars, so where they fall I will run. Other than that, I will just be a spectator.
