IMO race fuel may increases HP slightly but the reason why we use race fuel is to be able to run higher boost....to me its simple low boost ( just over stock) = pump gas and maybe a gubsy , high boost = race gas

I run race fuel to run more timing... boost doesn't change all the much. I run 2.2 bar on pump and 2.4 bar on race.
Race fuel on my car makes a massive difference. Race fuel on a smaller turbo car makes less of a difference because the potential for more air flow is limited by things like stock heads, mild cams, stock inlet and exhaust manifolds, small turbine housings, etc.
